Celebrating Generations - 2013 Oktoberfest

| 2012 Oktoberfest Board of Directors Float, Maple Leaf Parade |
Wilkommen to the 53rd annual Oktoberfest in La Crosse - I would like to personally invite you to join in our celebration this fall!
This year we are celebrating our past, present, and future in embracing the traditions of Oktoberfest with our families, friends, and home town community. Oktoberfest is the premier fall festivals in the coulee region and we are proud of both our heritage and our celebration.
We have so many events to offer for everyone of all ages: our family fun areas and New North Side Carnival, a variety of music throughout the week, educational as well as community visits, a large selection of food choices and of course both the Maple Leaf and Torchlight parades.
The Torchlight Parade may signal the end of the festival for the last time this year-but for our royal family, volunteers, and organization the year is just beginning. Our Oktoberfest family travels throughout their reign, promoting our wonderful City of La Crosse and our festival encouraging the spirit of Gemütlichkeit (GA-MEET-LEE-KITE) to continue YEAR ROUND in the Coulee Region. It takes many people to make Oktoberfest a success and with our entire FEST family, thousands of volunteers, local businesses and community sponsors we take that success and are able to give back. In fact, Oktoberfest is proud to donate to hundreds of local organizations, Clubs and Volunteer Groups, educational scholarships, CMN, and many more non-profit groups in our city gifting over $75,000 to those in need.
Oktoberfest is a family, a part of this community - and as with all families we too grow and change - however we also know and cherish our roots and our traditions and are proud to celebrate this year and many more with you~
Prost!
