Guten Tag alle Festers
On behalf of the La Crosse Festival’s Board of Directors, it is our pleasure to welcome
Bier
you to the 59th Oktoberfest USA Celebration. Each year, Oktoberfest adds over $15
million of economic activity to the La Crosse region. Last year alone $68,000 was
given directly to local non-profit organizations and scholarships were provided
to students from 9 area high schools. The Oktoberfest Royal Family spread
Gemütlichkeit while promoting the City of La Crosse across the Midwest and as far
away as Winnipeg Canada this past year. Additionally, we are formulating plans
for a significant capital investment into revitalizing the grounds to create a world
class experience for not just our Oktoberfest guests, but all of the events held onsite
throughout the year. None of this would be possible without the support of the City
of La Crosse, 650 individual volunteers, our many Klub members and corporate
sponsors, and of course the tens of thousands of festers.
Remember to Fest responsibly and give a thank you to any police or first responders
you spot along our parade routes, as they help keep our community and festival
safe. Prost!
